DANKOMPRESSOR has a broad programme of oilfree reciprocating compressors for dentistry or other dental applications. The same compressor type can be used for other oilfree compressed air applications for instance oilfree breathing air.

The compressors are especially constructed for oilfree function with special valves from special heat resistant steel. For the remaining parts the compressors are constructed for maximum heat resistance and

maximum cooling efficiency so that durability and lifetime are highest obtainable.

The compressors can be supplied in sound silenced cabinets and with dessicant dryer/coalescencing filter, if the air quality needed is for breathing air or according to toughest standards like ISO 8573, DIN 3188 and similar. We have small systems from 3kW/4HP, which can be supplied mounted on air receivers and with dryers/filter incorporated, so that clean and dry compressed air can be produced with minimum costs for a complete installation with tubes and fittings. These systems dont cost more than a good piston compressor solution. Further, we have larger industrial screw compressors with motors up to 450kW/610HP capable of producing up to 71.4 cbm/min. or 2,523 cfm. DANKOMPRESSOR can also offer belt driven screw compressors or direct driven screw compressors. Finally, frequency controlled screw compressors or screw compressors with frequency converter can be offered. The screw compressors can also be supplied as portable or mobile diesel compressors. They are like small refrigerator compressors, but working as open type, but equipped with oil plug and sight glass.

The DANKOMPRESSOR programme of refrigeration dryers is very environmental friendly with the use of 'green' refrigerants R134a and R407c. Furthermore, the refrigeration dryers are based on a modern and efficient construction with double heat exchanger from stainless steel, automatic drain and automatic capacity control. The instrument panel has dew point indicator, so the right dew point is maintained without using too much energy. The dryers are available with capacities from 350 L/min. up to 100 cbm/min. according to ISO 7183. Further, the dryers are available in special versions able to handle inlet temperatures of 60C or 85C as well as providing low outlet temperatures of 5C. These types are especially of use where ambient temperatures are excessive, for instance on ships or for other marine applications, as well as where really efficient drying is required. Dankompressor also has a full range of air aftercoolers both in versions of air cooled aftercoolers and water cooled aftercoolers. DANKOMPRESSOR has a broad selection of dessicant dryers,absorption dryers or adsorption dryers, as they are named.The dryers are working fully automatically with an electronic control system, so that efficient drying and less energy consuming operation are guaranteed. The dryers can work with pressure dew points (pdp) from -20C to -40C. The required air for regeneration for these heatless dessicant dryers, heatless adsorption dryers or heatless absorption dryers amounts to 7-15 % at these dew points. The capacities for this range goes from 350 L/min. up to1.500 cbm/hour following the conditions of ISO 7183. Furthermore, special models going higher in capacity as well as also heat generated dessicant dryers or heat generated adsorption dryers or heat generated absorption dryers can be supplied. Especially the small types are recommendable, as they are cheaper in purchase than for instance refrigeration dryers. These dryers are also available with built-in spiral cooler so that they can be mounted directly after for instance a piston compressor.They can also be used for drying instrument air or control air or just taking away the water in the tube system or before a machine in order to prevent shortened life of tools and difficulties with the function of expensive machinery. DANKOMPRESSOR has all types of filters, lubricators and quick couplings and fittings for compressed air use. With the programme of smaller filters the particle or dust filters has a filtration of 5 micron and float controlled automatic drain or condensate discharge. In this series also lubricators and pressure regulators and filter regulators are available. All these units can be mounted together with special adapters and be wall mounted also with special fixing systems. The same series is also available as microfilters or submicrofilters with filtration of 0.5 micron or 0.01 micron. These filters are normally equipped with differential pressure indicators and float controlled automatic drain. Finally, this series is available as activated carbon filter (active coal filters) with a filtration of 0.003 micron, differential pressure indicator and manual drain or condensate discharge. The large filter types are normally equipped with differential pressure indicators and automatic float controlled drain or in special cases electronically controlled (electronic drain) drain or electronic condensate discharge. These types are also available as cyclone water separators or ceramic prefilters (ceramic filters) where they are equipped with electronic drain or electron condensate discharge, which works without any loss of compressed air. DANKOMPRESSOR has a broad selection of air receivers, air tanks, airbottles and air pressure vessels. They are available in horizontal and in vertical versions. The working pressures vary from 8 bar, over 30 - 40 bar, to 220 - 350 bar. The air receivers are also available as diving bottles so that they can be used for oxygen bottles. The air receivers has capacities from 1.5 L up to app. 20,000 L. They are normally manufactured by and approved by CE 87/404 or CODAP 95. They can also be suppliedby other standards as per request, for installation in other countries like Norway etc. DANKOMPRESSOR is also very competitively priced for 30 - 40 bar working pressure air receivers or bottles.

These types are of course available with classification certificates based on DNV type approval or BV type approval from leading classification societies like Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Bureau Veritas (BV), Lloyds Register (LR) of Shipping and Germannischer Lloyd (GL) or RINA etc. These air receivers are manufactured under ISO 9001. DANKOMPRESSOR has a good selection of starting air compressors for 30 - 40 bar working pressure. The small series is air cooled, belt driven, heavy duty, low rpm cast iron construction. This compressor rotates with low rpm and has special concentric valves of the Hoerbiger type as well as ABB multi voltage motor 220-480V 50-60Hz and SIEMENS motor starter.

These compressors are also available as bare compressor units which can be put on existing base plate in order to replace other brands of belt driven compressors instead of expensive repairs. Further, we have a direct driven, air cooled starting air compressor series where the cylinders are placed horizontally in a flat- twin configuration with a very short stroke. Further, piston and conrods are in-one-piece. All this provides very compact measurements and a low vibration and finally a very long expected life.

Finally, we have the possibility to supply directly driven water cooled starting air (high pressure compressors) compressors with

capacities up to 600 cbm/hour or 10 cbm/min. DANKOMPRESSOR has a wide programme of high pressure air compressors with working pressures ranging from 200 bar (2900 psi) over 240 bar (3500 psi) to 350 bar (5000 psi). These compressors are mostly used for filling of breathing air bottles for diving bottles and other activities. The capacities range from one bottle to stationary units where 4 bottles can be filled simultaneously.

The compressors are either supplied as portable diving air compressors (portable breathing air compressors), driven by 1-phase electric motors, 3-phase electric motors, gazoline Honda engines, or as stationary units driven by 3-phase electric engines or diesel engines. In a special version a diesel driven track bar compressor can be supplied for truck transportation. The large series is normally supplied with sound silenced cabinet, but can also be supplied without this on request.

The compressors are normally supplied with the necessary filters and separators in order to provide breathing air quality according to DIN ISO 3188. DANKOMPRESSOR can also supply boosters which on basis of an inlet pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure can supply high pressures. They have capacitiesup to app. 1500 cbm/hour and working pressures up to app.100 bar. For working pressures below 1 bar we recommend our range of Roots pumps - please refer to the concerned page on this site.Please also note that all pressures on this site are relative -that is over pressure pressure above the atmospheric pressure in contradiction to absolute pressure referencing vacuum. The screw compressor range is often used for larger capacities with limited pressure (max. app. 15 bar). The capacities can go as high as app. 800kW, which is a capacity of app. 6000 m3/hour.

The systems are also available in booster versions where pressures above 0 bar can be brought up on the required level. These low pressure compressors can be used for air and all kinds of gases like oxygen, nitrogen, natural gas, hydrogen, CO2 etc. The heart of the ROOTS low pressure compressors are an airend of steel in a cast iron casing, which gives a heavy duty and long life unit. Further, the speed of the ROOTS pumps are very low, which also helps this aspect. The max pressure of these units reaches up to 1,000 mbar or 1bar over pressure and the units can also be used as vacuum pumps providing a high vacuums and high industrial quality. The water injected compressors are equipped with the patented ion-clean system, which ensures that the growth of bacteria is so low as possible. The water injected oilfree screw compressor series is available in belt driven and direct driven types.
